How much does a dental cleaning cost?
New patients on weekdays: $199 (includes exam, scale & clean, fluoride, and routine X-rays.
Weekends / outside the offer: routine check-up & clean is $249.
Deep/periodontal cleaning (if gums need extra care): fees vary by tooth area and complexity; your dentist will confirm if this is needed and provide a quote before treatment.
How much do dental X-rays cost?
Included within the $199 weekday new-patient package when required for diagnosis.
Outside the package, typical fees are provided up-front. (Small intraoral X-rays are usually modestly priced; panoramic or 3D scans are higher. We’ll only take what’s clinically necessary and will always discuss costs first.)
How do I get a Centrelink/Public Dental voucher and can I use it here?
In Victoria, eligible concession card holders can access public dental care through community dental clinics. When wait times are long, a public dental voucher (often called a dental voucher or issued under schemes like the General Dental Scheme) may be offered so you can see a private dentist.
How to apply:
Contact your local community dental clinic (Public Dental Services).
Ask about your eligibility (e.g., Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card) and voucher options.
If a voucher is issued, it will list what it covers and any co-payments.
Call us with the voucher details so we can confirm acceptance, what’s covered, and book you in.
For children (0–17): If your family receives certain Centrelink benefits, your child may be eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). We can check eligibility with your Medicare details and let you know what services can be bulk-billed under the available cap.
